In case you ever wonder how important it is that Hillcrest Church truly become, "A Local Church With A World Vision," check out the article in the Dallas Morning News entitled, "Buddhist Shrine Brings a Bit of Cambodia to Area." It tells the story of about the Cambodian Buddhist monk, Socheatrapagna Sisowath, who arrived in Dallas one year ago in order to build a local replica of the shrine at Angkor Wat, the temple/mausoleum near Phnom Penh. I encourage you to take a moment and pray that this gentleman will have a personal encounter with Jesus while he is here in our city.
